Kelly is a coach and mentor for The Academy for Dog Trainers and co-owner of All Dogs Go To Kevin in Akron, Ohio. Prior to moving to Ohio, she created and managed a brand new behavior and training department for The Louisiana SPCA -- the municipal shelter for the city of New Orleans. She shares her life with her partner, Kevin Duggan, their three dogs and furless puppy, Dexter.

Jean's books on behavior and training--including her seminal work, The Culture Clash-- have won numerous awards.

Until recently, Lori served as the Canine Behavior and Education Coordinator at the Women's Humane Society in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. and has a passion for helping shelter animals in general--pit bulls in particular. She lives in New Hope, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Paul, and her dog, Hazel, who is her inspiration and best friend.

Kristi lives in central Manitoba, Canada, where she is the owner of Kristi Benson Dog Training. In addition to teaching classes and taking clients, Kristi enjoys skijoring and running her own sled dogs. In her spare time she fosters, trains, and re-homes rescue racing sled dogs. Kristi is an avid blogger and is on staff at The Academy for Dog Trainers as a coach, webinar organizer, and mentor.

Casey owns Upward Hound Dog Training in Star Prairie, Wisconsin. She is an Honors graduate of The Academy for Dog Trainers as well as Malena DeMartini's separation anxiety certification program. Casey lives with her partner and three beautiful dogs in rural Wisconsin, and took to dog training after a career working to reform the way the criminal justice system responds to sexual assault and domestic violence.

Erik lives in Cheung Chau, Hong Kong, where he splits his time between dog training and software development. Prior to getting involved in volunteering and dog training in Hong Kong, Erik worked in various countries around the world as a software developer. Her love for dogs grew immensely upon meeting a very energetic and fluffy teacup Pomeranian and continued as she logged more than 80 hours volunteering at an animal shelter. Modeled after Jean Donaldson's beloved Chow Buffy (see photo above), Cartoon Buffy is a Lili Chin original drawing. When not inspiring others to speak Dog, Cartoon Buffy enjoys a good game of tug, burying dental chews between couch cushions, and dressing up in bridal wear. She can't wait until the day that her future sibling — Cartoon Emma the Beagle — is born.

Alexandra Dilley
Shelter Input and Outreach Alexandra is the director of animal behavior and training at the Humane Rescue Alliance, overseeing all behavior and welfare programs at the shelter's two Washington, D.C. locations. She also runs HRA's prison dog program, where inmates at a maximum security prison train shelter dogs who need extra attention to get adopted. Alexandra has a master's degree in Animal Behavior and Conservation from Hunter College, CUNY and is completing her CTC certification through The Academy for Dog Trainers. |
